MDILink

Measurement Data Interface MDILink
SerDes data converter for decoupling of raw sensor data

In the ADAS/AD sector, measurement data converters are always used when you need to decouple raw data from different sensor systems such as cameras, radar or lidar. As a SerDes data converter, the MDILink offers you a seamless solution that enables the transition from development to series production. The sensor data can be analyzed using measurement technology platforms and integrated into other modules of the AD Validation Toolbox. Thanks to the support of common interfaces such as GMSL, FPDLink and CSI-2, the MDILink is compatible with different technologies. The integration of the ASAM CMP (Capture Module Protocol) standard in all MDILink measurement data interfaces ensures that communication and measurement data from different sources are formatted, transmitted and stored in a standardized way. This enables seamless compatibility and easy integration into test and measurement environments.

Why choose MDILink?

Key Features

Reliable Data

With our MDI technology, we specialize in decentralized data acquisition from sensors, the conversion and exact time stamping of data from synchronized clocks, and the subsequent transfer via Ethernet standard to the data recorder.

2-in-1 device

The measurement data interface offers a conversion to 10Gbit Ethernet as well as transparent decoupling of the raw data stream in TAP mode.

Customization made possible

The MDILink is available for many standardized interfaces, such as GMSL, CSI-2 and FPD-Link. Not the right fit? Thanks to the modular concept, a flexible adaptation to different interfaces and data formats is easily possible. But also, data compression, conversion and encryption can be adapted to individual requirements. In addition, b-plus will gladly perform the physical adaptation to the selected sensor chip for you.
