Listen to our presentations at Embedded World - digitally and in an expert talk with WEKA Fachmedien
This year, the embedded world trade fair will take place on site in Nuremberg and also with digital components via the talque platform. From June 21 - 23 you can also meet our product experts and listen to their presentations. They will talk about the topics around collecting test data for ADAS and autonomous driving and further processing of this, the data quality of driving data and the necessary requirements for ensuring high data quality.

About our presentations:
In his presentation on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 4:30 pm, Georg Vogl, Product Manager at b-plus technologies, will talk about the important aspects of hardware to ensure high-quality and valid test data during vehicle data acquisition. During development of camera and radar based automated vehicles petabytes of data are collected for validation and verification. These data are also the base for algorithm development and the foundation for training and improving for AI. There are many aspects of good quality on data stream level for measurement data. It covers timing architecture with multi sensorics based on IEEE802.1AS and integrity features like checksums and image counter. It sums up with hardware aspects for robustness in a highly challenging environment showing every station data passes, from the sensor to the cloud.

During an interview with Irina Hübner, Bernd Eggl, Head of Product Strategy at b-plus technologies, will talk about the smart collection and processing of test data in the development of driver assistance systems and autonomous driving. Attend the talk on Wednesday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. on WEKA Fachmedien's VIP stage in Hall 3A, Booth 315.einem Interview mit Irina Hübner wird Bernd Eggl, Leiter Produktstrategie bei b-plus technologies, über das smarte Sammeln und Verarbeiten von Testdaten bei der Entwicklung von Fahrassistenzsystemen und autonomen Fahren sprechen. Besuchen Sie den Talk am Mittwoch, 22. Juni um 14:30 Uhr auf der VIP-Bühne von WEKA Fachmedien in Halle 3A, Stand 315.
In his English presentation, Bernd Eggl will talk about SerDes standards. The presentation is one of three at the Automotive Networks slot on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 1:45 pm. During test drives, terabytes of data are collected within minutes to validate automated driving and driver assistance systems. The sensors on the test vehicle provide raw data which the systems use to build up a precise picture of the vehicle's environment. Modern imagers installed in cameras deliver vast amounts of raw data that must be transmitted to an evaluating system. Already standardized vehicle bus systems are not able to fully map the data transmission requirements for future-oriented ADAS/AD systems. Proprietary transmission solutions based on GMSL or FPD-Link have established themselves here, but were not primarily developed for automotive use. The Automotive SerDes Alliance's ASA Motion Link and the MIPI Alliance's MIPI A-PHY standard are emerging in this area and are competing for the pole position. Since the processing of raw data is increasingly taking place on centralized platforms, transmission paths must meet automotive requirements, including increased EMC immunity to interference, long service life, low costs per receive and transmit node, or simple cable routing. This presentation shows a comprehensive view of ADAS/AD measurement data acquisition and verification. Interfaces to high-bandwidth sensors are shown on a technical level. In addition, technology openness and flexibility are crucial for this area. Smart FPGA based solutions combined with SerDes technologies and time correlated data streams build a basis for quality data needed for AI models.
