On July 22, 2019, b-plus GmbH was awarded with the prestigious prize of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy by Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger at the Schleissheim Palace, in Munich, Germany.
"This makes us officially one of the 50 most successful medium-sized companies in Bavaria, and we are extremely proud of that!" says Managing Director Michael Sieg after the ceremony. After all, only those companies that have been able to grow constantly in terms of revenue and number of employees over the past five years can ultimately count themselves among the select group of winners. Leading up to the event, a comprehensive and objective evaluation was conducted for the Bavaria Ministry of Economic Affairs by an experienced auditor.
Bavaria's Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger emphasized in his speech: "Among the prize winners, we have world market leaders, hidden champions, highly innovative service providers, merchants successful in all distribution channels, high-tech enterprises as well as the craft trades. However, they have one thing in common: they ensure that Bavaria has future-oriented jobs and apprenticeships and thus make a key contribution to our prosperity."
b-plus GmbH, which was founded 23 years ago in the Lower Bavarian town of Deggendorf, with its portfolio of services in the automotive industry and the automation of mobile machinery is more relevant than ever. Michael Sieg explains: "Artificial intelligence, digitization and machine learning in the field of automated and autonomous driving are currently on top of everyone's mind. We recognized this early on and focused on it. In doing so, over the years we were able to establish ourselves in a pole position and as a competent partner of the industry within this very innovative and dynamic market segment for vehicle measurement technology. This in turn allowed us to grow and expand on solid footing. I am very excited that we are able to accept this award on behalf of our dedicated employees. "
Other b-plus offices in Regensburg and Lindau are also experiencing healthy growth, as have the headquarters in Deggendorf, for which plans have recently been drawn up for a new corporate building in order to be optimally positioned for the company’s continuous growth strategy.
