Highlights: ProFRAME (Linux) - EB7200 (Linux) - xDSwitch
Packed with new enhancements and improvements, the new XTSS 4.14.0 update immediately increases the power and versatility of our solutions:
CUMULUS Linux Support for xDSwitches
Our XTSS has been migrated to the new NVIDIA Cumulus OS to make our mobile xDSwitches even more powerful and future-proof. These switches now offers support for PTP (IEEE1588v2) and gPTP (IEEE 802.1AS-2020) standards, and even allow bridging between them. Customers also benefit from a comprehensive set of tools for cloning configurations and an easy-to-use interface.
Solectrix ProFRAME 3 integration
Our devices now support the Solectrix ProFRAME 3.0 card as an internal SerDes interface in PTSS. Two cards are supported in the BRICK2 and three cards in the DATALynx ATX4. This integration ensures reliable hardware-based time synchronisation. The cards act as slaves and constantly display the deviation from the local PTSS time.
Elektrobit EB7200 Support for Linux
We have introduced support for the EB7200 card under Linux. This card is now supported in the hardware-based time synchronization in PTSS. This improves time synchronization, integrates with existing Linux systems and performs better for applications that need precise timing.
Advantages of XTSS
• High precision time sync for multi-sensor systems
• Offers flexible, plug-and-play integration suitable for various use cases
• Dual sync services: CTSS (Ethernet-based using gPTP and PTP) and PTSS (hardware-based)
• Global and local sync with TAI and Working Clock Domains
• Support for various clock types for robust time distribution
• Compensation for delays, including propagation and transmission delays, for precise data processing
