The data-based reuse of recorded test drives for programming modern driver assistance systems has proven itself well so far to be a good validation method. The approach is both economical and sustainable and can be implemented at an early stage using HiL systems for environmental sensors and fusion platforms. For this, open programming interfaces are essential in addition to the ability to render large amounts of data.
